I twisted my knee recently.
About a month ago, actually. I didn't complain much about it and continued about my business for a time, but this past Sunday it got pretty bad so I went to the ER. It's just a sprain, but it got me thinking about how I spend my time and where my priorities lie.
You have one life. How will you look back upon it when all is said and nearly done?
I'm including this in here because while I may not have pictures you can see, or music you can hear, everything that's been occurring around me lately has deeply impacted the way I view my creative work. I see how much it means to me, how much of a catharsis it is to turn scrap metal into sculpture, or paper into a book or a poster. To have an idea and let it flourish, let it grow, let a part of myself grow with it...
Lately not as much growth as I'd like has occurred.
So I have some important decisions to make in order to make time.
