I cracked open my thesis project for the first time today since January.
I've mentioned it before. In fact, my original intention for creating this blog was to continue with the idea that my thesis stemmed from.
A hand-made, one word a day, typographic journal.
Par exemple:
This was the general idea: List a calendar page for each day with a generally brief, maybe even mysterious, description of the day followed by the illustrated word used to describe the day on the next set of spreads.
I would like to keep up with this. I think I shall. I'm thirsty for ways to express myself while keeping up the experimentation I grew so accustomed to before I graduated. I haven't had anywhere near enough self-expression or experimentation lately. So it's time I burrow back into the toy box and see what there is to create with, see what new interesting things I can make.
